College of the Desert spent nearly $127 million to create and double the size of the East Valley Campus in Indio as demand for phase I of the East Valley Campus was so great. However, current Trustee Bea Gonzalez voted against a $268,000 contract to fully furnish it and allow the Expansion to open this fall. How is that helping students get a college education?
